The most popular trademarks in the United States for movies, games and TV shows have been listed, according to the Trademark Owners Association.
The association, an industry trade group, released the list on Friday.
The top 10 most popular movies and TV show trademarks include Disney, Marvel, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. and CBS.
Disney is the most popular with 7.3 million registered trademarks in 2017.
The next two are Warner Bros., with 2.8 million and Paramount Pictures with 1.8.
Other movie and TV-related trademarks in recent years have included Disney Pixar, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Warner Bros.’
The list includes 10,000-plus trademarks in various categories, including film, music, entertainment, and merchandise.
Disney has been the most frequently registered trademark in the last two decades, with 2,000,000 registered in 2017, followed by Marvel Studios with 1,400,000 and Warner with 1 million.
A separate report by trademark experts Brand X pegged Disney as the most valuable company in the world.
